The Medpark 2.0 Reproductive Medicine Center is the only one in the country and the region to have obtained European certification in the field of IVF
Medpark Reproductive Medicine Center recently achieved certification from the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) in the field of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). It's the only center in Moldova and the region (Romania, Ukraine) to have obtained this certification, making it one of only nine specialized centers in the world meeting ESHRE's standards.
The evaluation was conducted by international experts, covering the embryology laboratory, facilities, infrastructure, medical procedures, and the level of expertise of the specialists.
For patients, ESHRE certification means assurance that medical procedures are verified and conducted according to the highest standards of quality and safety. The success rate of IVF procedures depends on various factors, and the Medpark Reproductive Medicine Center has recorded a success rate of over 55%, comparable to top clinics worldwide.
The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) is the most recognized authority globally in assisted human reproduction. It develops recommendations for best practices in infertility treatment.
ESHRE’s goal is continuous improvement of the quality and safety of in vitro fertilization procedures based on scientific research and clinical studies. There are several certifications attesting to the compliance of medical activities with the recommendations, including certification for embryologist physicians (held in Moldova only by Dr. Vladimir Povar, Medpark), certification for nursing assistants, and for endoscopic reproductive surgeons. However, the most comprehensive and valuable certification is the one awarded to our center.
